Temperature§
Temperature conversions are not simple multiplication — they require offset formulas:
- Celsius to Fahrenheit: °F = (°C × 9/5) + 32
- Fahrenheit to Celsius: °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9
- Celsius to Kelvin: K = °C + 273.15

Why Unit Conversions Matter More Than You Think§

The confusion between decimal (SI, used by drive manufacturers) and binary (used by operating systems) is why a "1 TB" hard drive shows up as ~931 GB in Windows. The drive manufacturer isn't lying — they're using decimal gigabytes. Windows uses binary gibibytes. Both are technically correct; they just use different definitions.
